Going beyond traditional therapy & Empowering Families!
Creating Connections provides occupational therapy services using a naturalistic, holistic, and family-centered model tailored to each child and their unique family unit.
Our approach fosters harmony and wellness, accelerating progress in meaningful daily activities across all settings. Sessions are thoughtfully planned based on the child’s needs and typically take place in the home, community, or our clinic playspace.
We value collaboration—working closely with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to develop the most effective treatment plan. Through education, training, and empowerment, we equip families and support teams with strategies to help each child thrive.
Our Services
Individual Therapy
We provide individualized occupational therapy sessions tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals. Every session follows our family-based model, which includes caregiver education and strategies to support success at home, school, and in the community. We also offer comprehensive evaluations, home modification/accommodation consultations, peer social sessions and support for recreational and sport activity exploration—always with collaboration between parents, teachers, and outside providers at the center of care.
Group Programs
we offer a variety of group therapy opportunities designed to build skills in a supportive, fun, and social environment. From social-emotional and sensory-motor groups to feeding, executive function, and preschool readiness, our groups give children the chance to learn alongside peers while practicing real-life skills. We also offer specialized options such as yoga & mindfulness, hiking & outdoor groups, and co-led OT & speech groups, all of which foster confidence, resilience, and connection. Group sessions not only strengthen individual skills but also help children feel understood and supported as part of a community.
Classes
Our classes are open to the pubic, all designed and led by our expert pediatric OTs, combine play with purposeful skill-building. From our Sensory Lab, where kids can strengthen regulation and motor skills through hands-on exploration, to Toddler & Me Yoga, which nurtures movement, bonding, and mindfulness, each class is crafted to support development while keeping it fun and engaging. With options for different ages and interests, our classes give families a chance to learn, grow, and connect together.
Open Play
OpenPlay is an unstructured playtime that’s open to the public, developed by our pediatric OTs, where kids can explore, climb, and imagine in a sensory-rich play gym. The space is intentionally designed to support motor skills, socialization, and confidence—all while keeping it fun. OpenPlay is open to the public daily, making it the perfect spot for playdates, rainy day adventures, or simply burning off energy in a safe and welcoming environment.
Our Approach
Our approach is play-based, confidence-building, and holistic. We look beyond the surface to address the root causes of challenges, always centering both the child and their family. By partnering closely with caregivers and other professionals, we create individualized plans that foster empowerment, harmony at home, and meaningful progress. We value our time working directly with children just as much as the time spent educating and supporting parents and caregivers—we believe lasting growth happens when the whole family is part of the journey.

Our Story: How it All Began
We started Creating Connections to offer something different—a space where care is flexible, personal, and truly centered around each child and their family. After seeing the limitations of larger organizations, we knew families deserved a more supportive, individualized approach. Now, we’re even more excited to extend that mission to the entire community through OpenPlay and class options that are inclusive and welcoming to everyone.
